Professional fees
- The professional fee for a private appraisal is negotiable on the basis of the market value of the real estate and the needed production time of the appraisal.
- Fees for the provision of valuation and other related consulting services are reviewed and discussed on a case by case basis, depending on the purpose and complexity of the project, scope of services and time required. Fees can be structured as lump sum fees or an hourly/ daily rate basis. With your telephone call (030 - 881 90 63) the task and the fee can be quickly resolved.
- A rough guidance for the amount of the fee to be negotiated provides the former § 34 paragraph 1 of HOAI (regulations for architects´ and engineers´ fees) as at 1 January 2002.
- A close cooperation of the client (providing the necessary documentation, enabling a short- term visit to the site, etc.) reduces the time the experts spends and of course reduces the fee for the appraisal.
- Valuations in accordance with the bank or insurance (e.g., expert reports on form) will be rewarded by appointment or existing compensation rules for external experts.
- Judicial appraisals are paid according to JVEG and within fixed hourly rate.
